I think Man likes the thought of something being new or ageless(timeless). The only thing wrong with this is that nothing can withstand time and ultimately succumbs to the natural cycle of life.
I enjoyed the pictures. I think Willoughby brought it up the question in class: is time something we should think about more than space? i thought, yes. Time is life and and life is a cycle. I personally think we need just as many licensed "preservation experts" as licensed engineers, architects, and interior designers.
