The Curious Case of Benjamin's PB&J

The moral of the story: Don't steal!!! (it may cause the shizitz)

The studio environment allows for people to become comfortable and express their creativity without so much fear of the backlash. The studio brings students and teachers together like a family. We eat, sleep, and work together. We breath architecture together.

  1. I like your illustrations. I also like your statement that we "breath architecture together". As much as it is important for maintain our individuality, it is important for us to harmonize with one another in our studio environment. Together, we are a body of knowledge that feeds off of each other. Without the sense of a community that shares, comforts, encourages, and challenges each other; we loose a unified energy that everyone needs to excel. I think we are all responsible for looking out for each other. I know for myself, I would not be where I am today as a designer without the help and support of my piers and professors.

  2. Do you ever think that come people get too comfortable with the sense of community to where they become dependent? I think it is a dangerious route to comform to others ideas...because of the fact it is an 'easy way out'. Do you think that is a problem here at our school of architecture? Do some people loose themselves, their individuality because of others influences?
